Continued success of StoneLock technology, used by over 35 percent of Fortune 100 companies, accelerates company growth in 2017

Kansas City StoneLock, formerly Stone Lock Global, a global leader in designing and manufacturing secure facial-recognition access control solutions, is pleased to announce its new corporate brand, coinciding with the company’s rapid acceptance and success in providing superior identity management solutions for both commercial and government customers. The updated brand reflects StoneLock’s continued commitment to security assurance, providing the optimal user experience, and protecting the sanctity of user identity. As reflected on the new company website –, StoneLock’s brand identity was streamlined to better represent their proprietary near-infrared biometric technology that rapidly verifies a user identity without the use of images, never collecting personally identifiable information. While “Global” has been dropped from the new name, StoneLock will continue to serve its base of customers around the world from their new headquarters in south Kansas City. The objective was to achieve a sleeker, more distinctive image, as StoneLock’s frictionless and reliable verification of identity is quickly gaining acceptance in the most critical and rigorous applications enterprise security has to offer. “2016 was a watershed year for StoneLock. By mid-year, we had been adopted by over 35 percent of the Fortune 100 as their enterprise biometric of choice for access control,” said Colleen Dunlap, CEO and Co-Founder of StoneLock. “We could not be more proud of this collaborative success, shared across our entire team that brings unique knowledge and capabilities in the areas of biometrics and identity management. This new brand reflects not only the team’s success, but also our continued commitment to creating the most secure and reliable access control solutions.” In 2016, StoneLock established StoneLock Gov and a presence in Washington, DC to better address biometric technology requirements for local, state and federal governments. StoneLock also welcomed new members to support their explosive growth and entry into new markets, such as Carter Stewart, Vice President of Government Affairs, who administrates the government contracting side of the company, StoneLock Gov, and Roberta Chandler, who has most recently accepted the position of Office Manager at StoneLock. “As we begin 2017 with a fresh look and an incredible groundswell of momentum, it’s very exciting to see StoneLock gaining acceptance across almost every vertical market served by the Security Industry,” said David D Dunlap, Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning and Co-Founder of StoneLock. “Security systems need accuracy and reliability, and users want convenience and their identities protected. StoneLock is ideally positioned as a best-in-class access-control biometric, providing trusted and reliable identity management solutions for both commercial and government clients.” In October 2016, StoneLock opened a new corporate headquarters, located in a HUBZone in Olathe, Kansas, to support its growing team and market demand while continuing its US-based manufacturing and production.
